My Boys and Me

This is going to be a quick entry because I am SO tired. Mike has also worked so much lately (in preparation for taking a month off) and since he just got home, I want to snuggle with him. Braeden and I met Jennifer and Nicholas at the pool today and spent a couple hours there. The water is still too cold for me, but the boys enjoyed it. Of course B fell asleep on the way home and is now struggling to go to sleep for the night. Last night was a lot of fun. We went to a park we’d never been to before and the boys had a fantastic time running around for over an hour. The best part was that I didn’t have the stomach problems that I usually get from eating Japanese. So, I was able to enjoy dinner and NOT suffer afterwards.

Not much else to report. Braeden did say something so cute yesterday that I have to share. The other day we were coming out the of Dr.’s office and Braeden walked right in front of a women to get out the door. Mike told him that it was rude and men should let ladies go first. Well, yesterday I was fussing at him to hurry up and get out the door because he was taking too long. Finally I lost my patience and yelled, “Braeden, GO!” and he so calmly and nicely said, “Ladies First!” and made me walk ahead of him. I couldn’t help but laugh and loose my attitude.

Speaking of laughing, here is what Braeden insisted on putting on at 7:30 a.m. this morning immediately after he woke up. Its too tight in the back so we couldn’t button it up and for some reason he decided he needed to roll the pants up. Ah, he is his own little person. PS. Its spiderman in case you can’t make it out because of his “pose.”

Aaron- Braeden referenced your constant “tooth-pick-in-the-mouth” when his little buddy Nicholas grabbed one last night. He said, “My Daddy always gets a toothpick at a restaurant.” He doesn’t forget anything!
